Looks like it's one for the good guys. Now if President Baby Hands doesn't do anything stupid we can close the book on this disgraceful chapter.

What the Army Corps of Engineers blocked was routing the ND crude pipe under a river. Why the proposers and North Dakota never consulted the Corps in the beginning gives you a measure of the mentality of North Dakota government. That a spill might do havoc to Standing Rock Reservation water supply never bothered ND govt gives you a measure of that State's attitude to US treaty rights. Trampling is all right there.

So now chapter 2 begins but the ND governor has saud he will oppose any route diversion. As for a place to live ND sucks.

I'm very impressed by how much ignorance and misinformation you managed to get into one short paragraph. Well done.

Really? Can you specify what exactly he got wrong? Oh, and when you do, please provide some evidence and proof.

Once Trump is in office the oil will flow. It might involve rerouting to a certain degree but it can be done. The 1,172 mile is just a few miles from completion. Find something else to whine about you liberals.

You're probably right about Baby Hands. He has no respect for the American people, Native Americans or Treaties. He'll do whatever he wants until he goes so far that what's left of the Republican Party who hasn't yet sold out to the man child takes a stand and brings him down just like they did Nixon.

You do realize the pipeline and its route was the subject of hundreds of meetings and signed approvals by other tribes and people along the route. That it has to cross the river somewhere and in fact the oil already does and will continue to cross the river, because the oil is and would continue to be shipped by rail, which poses a much higher percentage of failure and pollution as it travels through heavily populated areas. So safe water as an excuse is laughable- are they protesting the shipment by rail??? Answer=NO! That the Standing Rock Sioux tribe is NEAR the route of the pipeline- it does not cross their land and as such they receive no $$$$ from it. The Standing Rock Sioux tribe did not participate in any public comment meetings in North Dakota, did not submit written testimony in opposition to the project, and refused to meet with officials from the Dakota Access project on 7 different invitations. This was a process that included nearly 400 meetings on cultural surveying and 11 meetings between the Army Corps of Engineers and the Standing Rock Sioux tribe.

ME thinks the issue is the tribe ain't getting paid $$$- and that is what will ultimately fix it. The rest is all window dressing to stir everyone up- I mean where were they before all this??? Answer me that and you'll find why the current legal owners of the pipeline land are reacting the way they are. This is a done and approved deal long before it started. And I'm part Cheyenne- but live in the real world- bet every one of them drive cars.

Why did it take all this to get them to reroute. just more proof the people mean nothing to to big business. Are you that blind. If they had taken more acceptable route none this be happening. Then there is your lord an god. Will tell the people kiss his almighty ass.. lol

This deal was made and APPROVED under Obama's watch. Any treaties that were broken (none) and natives tribes that were ignored (None) were under his tutelage ALONE. But lets not get facts in the way of another of your baseless rants....

But its fun to know that you'd be obviously much happier if he could palm a basketball. That attribute is obviously something you look for that makes your mouth water and your butt squirm - something that to you- commands respect and admiration! Funny the thought has never crossed my mind.. does Obummer have big hands- that why you love him so?

ROFL.
