Making childish political comments about a joke is an indication you probably can't
Thank you for your service.
I am the original poster. Never in the Navy, Just an Army Airborne infantry grunt.
And thank you for seeing the humor.
If you have never been in the service, then you probably do not understand the humor. Most military jokes are between one service and another or between enlisted and officers. (EX enlisted VET Swabbie myself) It is our way of having fun and showing some respect between services I think. Thank You to all branches of the Service and my fellow Service men and women for your Service (something that I think should be a requirement for the Commander in Chief --- at least one tour, so the Salute is actually warranted, and for all members of Congress as well. Just my personal thought) I enjoy all military humor.

Sorry to hear that. Probably those of political correctness. Don't they realize the election results was because of all the PC that has occurred. Forget them! USMC forever!

What boat were you on? I may have worked on it at Mare Island NSY. If it was earlier than about the SSN 595 then probably not unless it was the SSN 575 Seawolf. I was at MI from 1984 until it closed in 1996. I was transferred to Camp Pendleton MCB where I had a lot of experience with marines.
I have two brothers that were Jarheads and I found it funny, both of them are college graduates.

Nothing wrong with me just don't think it's funny. My brother was wounded in Vietnam. My Nephew is in the Marines watching over us. Not sorry for the reply. Have a wonderful FREE day. God bless America.

Oh God, it's just a joke, get a grip. You ought to be around my brother, an Army helicopter pilot, and I when we get together. I was a Corporal in the Marine Corps and we go after each other like cats and dogs... it's all just fun. When it stops being fun, like if he really steps on my toes about rolling around in the mud and it triggers something that brings up unwanted memories, we stop and give each other a hug and remind each other we're glad we both made it back.
That being said, there will always be inter-service/intra-service rivalry. Trying to legislate it here, or not understanding it, won't stop it, nor will it diminish the fun those of us have that participate. I think the real take away here is I'm glad to be here today, because of those helicopter pilots and the rest of our fighting service, to enjoy the repartee.
And WessoJPEG, I'm glad your around too. I'm sorry if you were offended by the BS flying around. It wasn't intentional nor vindictive. Semper-Fi brother
Corporal, USMC, Chu-Lai, Viet Nam
Republicans don't have a lock on patriotism. Democrats are also very interested in our democracy. We may come at it from different angles is all.
Maybe I've got too much time on my hands and maybe it's none of my business BUT...nah, never mind. I'll just stick to the photography threads.
My IQ is perfect...........100.
That is 100 higher than mine.

Sad to hear. It seems that the political correct crowd of buttercups and snowflakes who think they need their safe spaces are often the worst bullies. :-(

You jump out if a perfectly good aircraft for no reason and you tell jokes about Marine's IQ? 😜😎

They lose IQ points for every 1000 ft. of freefall... and it's cumulative.
