We've all seen movies about all the planning that goes into a major heist. This thief bypassed all that. He just waked past the armored truck, went back, and removed 1.6 million in gold.

I would say "Jackpot" but since he was spotted getting into a van a few blocks away, he's busted!

The news report I saw said the container contained gold shavings and look more like sand than anything of value. I wonder if the thief ever knew what he had.

He'll probably go into a store around the corner, "We Buy Gold," and ask how much he can get.
