Canon W-EI Wifi Adapter

Has anyone purchased the wifi adapter for the 7D2 or 5DS/5DSR? If so, did you preorder? How long did it take before you received it? I pre-ordered this from B&H last month and am still waiting. It isn't B&H's fault, but rather Canon's. Is this typical of new items from Canon for preorders? Thank you for any information

I agree, and actually, I can be very patient--I just wanted to know if I should be waiting daily with baited breath. 😉

Great question, however, for the price (B&H has it $10 cheaper than Canon), I can wait. 🙂

Don't know about the Canon, but I bought a Nikon wifi adapter which worked okay. However, I then put the Mobi Eye-fi into the camera and that worked perfectly without having an external adapter to carry around.

Got mine a week ago. Very impressed with versatility and remote shooting using iPad is great. The only drawback is it is a a bit fiddly to set up each time I wish to use it with the 7D MkII. Maybe I will see if I can do something in My Menu. Worth the £39.99.
