So we took her into them there hills. This poor little dog was raised on very little dog food so her mother supplemented the meager amount of dog food that they were given with an ample supply of baby birds and muskrats. After we rescued her she became very spoiled !
While we were up in them there hills we happened to spot an old homesteaders log barn.
It's the old Baker homestead near Dog Lake in Sanders County Montana.
Sanders County may have a few red blinking traffic lights but the red, yellow, green type of traffic lights haven't made their way into this county yet. There aren't any freeways here either.
She is beautiful and entitled to all the spoiling you can give her! You are to be commended for rescuing her.
The barn looks nice also!

Nice photos, and I love that dog. She's my kind of pooch--I have a mostly border collie that looks a lot like her.
lovely old barn glorious little bitch! You are lucky to have each other.
Thanks, she lives with her brother from the same litter. He was the big one of the litter and she was the smallest.
We have had him a lot longer than we have had her. He was almost killed by the other ones fighting over food and we just told the owner that we were "taking that dog" ! A few years later we were given the opportunity to have her when the owner just couldn't keep her any longer due to being homeless. They are only half Border Collies the other half is who knows what.
Here is a photo of her brother although it's a bit blurry.
Beautiful dogs and great barns...can't get any better than that!
