I have this thing about Bald Eagles. my favorite poster 16 X 20) is one like your photo except it has a cation that makes me chuckle. It reads " I AM SMILING"
I am also a ham radio guy (56 years) and all of my QSL cards have Bald Eagles on them. (if you are not into ham lingo a QSL card is an acknowledgement of a contact with a fellow Hamster)

They sure are magnificent animals aren't they. Good to hear you are still operating there are quite a few around the world who still keep HAM radio going out there we sure will need it sometime in the future.

I think the eagle is saying: "Where is the nearest ophthalmologist?" His one eye is cloudy. Hope he can hunt well enough to survive.

That's the reason the conservancy has it is to help it survive, sure is a beautiful animal kind of gives it a more dignified look when not perfect.
