Wish that I had a couple of tickets to sell. A lot of NAS relief there.
No kidding!
TicketIQ on Wednesday morning said its resales carry an average ask of $4,200 per ticket, with a minimum ask at $1,200 and an average final sale at about $2,900. The closest comparable Game 7 ticket on this site was the Giants-Rangers in 2010, when the average ask topped $1,786.
That's why poor and middle class folks watch sports on TV. Who the heck could afford to pay those amounts for tickets unless you're rich. Superbowl ticket prices are outrageous too.
Congrats to the Cubs! So glad it happened in my lifetime!

The price for two seats behind the Cubs dugout in Game 7....$19,500. Thats a record breaking price.
Who has got that kind of money? If you've been supporting the team and gone to a lot of their games why shouldn't they be able to go to a game 7 without having to mortgage their home? Just saying.

Cobs won on the road, again! So much for "home court advantage!" Like I said above, it is pitching!

No, Cubs, no.
I can't take listening to my brother-in-law brag about "my Cubbies."
Better get some ear plugs cause it's a done deal!
Thanks for the link. I was born a Yankee's fan, my diapers had pinstripes. I have no problem with trading Chapman; he's a free agent, if they wanted to spend the money (and Hal S doesn't) they could get him back and I know about the prospect, potential, the future, etc. Prospects often don't pan out, don't reach their potential and I've yet to meet anyone who can accurately predict the future. Frazier is the only one of the four who is close to maybe making the big club and if he does, where do you play him? What do you do with him along with Judge, Austin and Bird when he comes back? Who do you trade to make room for him/them? Then there's the whole can he play in NYC thing and that is very real. A lot of guys can't. They had Miller signed through 2018 and by today's standards, at the bargain price of $9 million per. I just don't see the sense in giving up the best reliever in the league, a proven entity who isn't going to break the bank, for prospects. You don't give up a sure thing for a couple of maybes. I AM HAPPY AS A PIG IN MUD THAT THE CUBS WON!!! Not only that, it was a wonderfully played Series, one of the best in a while and among the most exciting Game 7s I've seen.
I don't live in Chicago, I live in central Illinois, and I am the only White Sox fan in a family of Cubs fans. I watched every minute of all seven games of the 2016 World Series, and found it some of the most entertaining television I have seen this year. I was glad that there was something positive to take my mind off of the current state of the world in this 'silly' political climate. Congratulations to the World Champion Cubs, Harry Caray is celebrating in heaven today, "Holly Cow"!

Surprise! Cubs went -- to the top that is. Congrats!
CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! ............HOLY COW!!
Great game to end a great series.
Congrats to the Cubbies! I'm sure Steve Goodman's "Dying Cubs Fan" is smiling.
Congratulations to the Cubs. That 7th and deciding game, won in extra innings, was exciting. Great Series.
It's home "field" advantage, folks. Nit-picky, but come on.

Then again, if the victory was on the road it was the home "feel" advantage. And again, we are into the basketball season. (I'm so old that I remember separate seasons. The baseball World Serious (!) then was played in a decent Fall season.) Maybe THAT concept slopped over onto the ball field.
