Yes, these techniques can be used by both sides, but people on the left have no compunctions of using these techniques. Note the refusal to allow speakers at colleges & universities and to rescind speaking engagements of those with whom they disagree with. Then the violent protests at Trump rallies is another indication. My god, they don't believe in 1st amendment rights unless the person toes their line of thought. Also, the lawsuits against global warming "deniers". I could go on, but most of the infractions are perpetrated by those on the left, not the right.

Both sides do others, and themselves, a great injustice when they only think of things a stereo types.
NONE of us fit ALL the criteria of the side we associate with.
Yet we talk to other people as if they did possess All of the stereo typical traits.
Do YOU possess ALL of the kool-aide traits of one who identifies with the left?
