At least you were able to get part of her in focus. My last attempt at a moving deer was not worth sharing. A young buck and his lady friend & both were in a hurry to leave so all that I managed to get was the southbound end of two northbound deer - all out of focus.

I've never seen one before. now I'm going to google black tail deer and check them out. thanx for commenting. gary

yeah, i deleted a few on this series. it takes place so fast. figures, the only decent one was of her back side! gary

Still a neat shot. And a backside isnt always bad. I ave seen a few backsides that turned into disappoibtment when they turned around

Better luck next time Gary, things that are hunted generally don't have much patience for humans even when they are only shooting with a camera.
