Very ice, and very typical of that area. It's one of our favorite places, and we go there at least a couple times a year. Love to go on a whale watch tour. Unfortunately, last time we went, it was very hazy from forest fire smoke, so my pictures didn't turn out so well.

We've been there not quite a half-dozen of times. Went on a glacier tour once.
Normally we stay in military lodging since I'm a veteran, but last trip stayed at a b&b outside town.
We like to visit the Alaska Sea Life Center, and also Exit Glacier where the loss of ice demonstrates global warming.

Thanks. I like that shot also. The little boat shows the scale of the mountains.

Very appealing and dramatic shots. The first is wild and rugged looking. I love how dwarfed the boat is in the last shot. I'm sure that is a good sized boat but it certainly looks small in this situation!

Thanks for your comments.
I liked how the boat gave scale to the enormity of the mountain.
About half of Alaska cruises leave/arrive from Seward at the end of this Bay. The other half leave /arrive from Whittier, north of Seward.
