This Bald Eagle photo was taken last January on a very cold day.
I used 560mm. Hand held.
Canon 5Dsr - Canon 100-400 II - Canon 1.4x III - 1/1000 - f/14 - ISO @ 1000. Distance was about 125-150 feet.

The color differences/variations in his feathers is just so remarkably gorgeous! I wouldn't have thought about there being those gold and bronze colors being in there, I usually think shades of gray. Excellent work,Regis.

This photo was taken last 1/2/16 on a cold Winter day with good sunshine. I took hundreds of eagle photos but this one and others escaped me
so I am finding some good ones to post. I don't know why some of the feathers were different shades of color, but now and then I see this among
the Bald Eagles and Osprey.
I still have a lot of Fall photos to go through and I will post some at a later date.
