I try to do portraits on grandkids at least once a year. More often if they will let me. I have a few as of now. Hope to get more before the challenge is done. Hope to see what some of you do if it is people or pets for your subject.

Agnes, thank you for hosting. Your portraits have come a long way. Nice skin color and your subjects look relaxed. Had hoped to have some fresh ones but the shoot was rained out. We are trying again Tuesday.

Thanks for hosting, Agnes!
I love informal portraits as apposed to formal ones. So I have more of the former to pull from...Time for me to hit the rack....will be back soon!

Such a sweet little Owen!!!
Here's one I like...Noticed that background needed attention when uploaded first time...so replaced with vignette and bandaid app. Like it better yet!

I don't do people portraits, but this could be considered a "portrait" it you eliminate the "people" part of the definition.

What a cute portrait, just love those eyes.
The first four are golfers at the Legends of Golf near Branson, MO. The fifth on is someone at the 4th of July in Jefferson City, MO. and the last is a picture of my sister.

Barred Owl taken at a MD Dept of Environment Raptor showing in August. It may be young, but they didn't make any mention of it being a juvenile.
