Blur motion usually has something in focus. Such as panning a car as it drives by on the road, the car will be in focus and the background/foreground out of focus. These could make interesting backgrounds.

I saw this concept in a Outdoor Photographer magazine. It might not have been called Motion blur. thanks for looking and commenting,Jim and foathog.
I just rechecked the article, It was titled Impressions of Autumn. It was an idea to use to stretch your creative vision.

I like to do this often based on the teachings of Canadian photographer Freeman Patterson. He calls these images subreal.
I am not 100% sure but an increase in saturation could help these shots and by the way, clone that bright spot in the first one that is acting as a distraction.
