So you became a Newfie....must've been one terrific trip...cod make THE best fish 'n chips. Congrats. We made it to the Labrador border in August
Yes, I became a Newfie. Absolutely, had a great time and all the folks were wonderful. Labrador is a bit further north and colder; they've already had some snow up there. The cod was outstanding and I had a new fish meal I'd never heard of before called brewis made with cod and hard bread; totally awesome.

Brewis..yup....Indeed they are great people.
These aren't medieval but they explain Quebec back in the early times. Each August there is a huge festival at the Place Royale called La Fete de la Nouvelle France or the party/festival/etc of the New France. Costumes can be rented....not too cheaply either.
Marking this Challenge.......See what I can find!

Right on, rehess. Fun place over there, even locals go around the entire area. My photos are usually done on weekends at sunrise. Glad you had a great time. I live across the river

Beautiful memories
beautiful observation ... the way I remembered it ...
two ways
These are good times, my times and all is fine
one two and tree are from Sunset Park in Las Vegas, the first one I made black and white, the second the little boy started to cry because the birds wouldn't come over, and the third just a quiet evening fishing at the lake. Well!! there is surely people in that plane lol, my grand kids then 4 and 3 ready for Halloween and now as 9 and 7 at school's Friday wacky hair day, little dog we saw while visiting Red Rocks with the gang in Denver, and then the farewell dinner wonderful companions for the whole trip
No one was home. Guess I'll come back later.
