I should show more interest in this since I lived in Dallas for a while. However, we moved there when I was six years old and left when I was nine. Didn't care too much about football teams at the time.

How about that new Las Vegas Raiders team? The legislature and governor approved a tax increase to help pay for a stadium. However, still don't care too much about football teams.

About the only time I care about a game is if I have money on it. A few years ago I went to the local casino to bet on the Super Bowl. I decided to bet on the team that was considered the underdogs since the payoff would be better. What do you know, the underdogs pulled it off and won the game. Don't even remember who was playing but turned my $10 bet into a $27 win. Way to go, underdogs.

Yes it is a replacement business, replace what is not working, it is about winning, winning equals money. You don't go to watch your team play to loose. As with any job if you don't produce your fired. Sorry Romo.

I was a Cowboys fan from the time I was a young girl but when they hired Romo my love for the team ended. I will have to take a look at this new QB. I have been busy this year and haven't kept up with the teams like I usually do.

BTW...my team now is the same team I was a fan of before I changed to the Cowboys. Greenbay Packers!!!

You can't be happy with your quarterback.

I grew up in Illinois and will always be a Bears and Cubs fan at heart, but I did enjoy watching the Cowboys play, at least until Jerry Jones bought the team. Now I enjoy watching them lose.

Jones has no loyalty whatsoever, he'll discard Romo like yesterday's Kleenex if he thinks it'll produce more wins.

I read a very true statement the other day, the NFL is a 'replacement' business. Everybody gets replaced, most of them sooner than they would like. Romo's days as a starter, at least in Dallas, may be over, and Big Ben (Steelers) is on the downhill side of his Hall of Fame career, too, so the Steelers need to plan for his successor. Based on last night's game, the Jets need to find a new QB (among other things.)

This season I've been following Denver a lot, since the Bears suck and have been painful to watch. (bad QB, incompetent ownership/management) Mostly this is because of Trevor Siemian, since I went to Northwestern.

It has nothing to do with loyalty. It's all about money, for the owners and players.

Jerry Jones, complete owner and operator, has gambled on a new Quarterback named Dak Presscott, who thus far has won 5 straight games for the Dallas Cowboys. They are 5-1. Dak is in the same position that Tom Brady was in, when he took over for Drew Bledsoe while injured. That's how Tom Brady became a starter. Some are saying because of Tony Romo's consistent injuries, he may have to swallow his pride and accept being a backup Quarterback. Is this fair to Tony, because everyone knows he wants his job back as a starter? The final say is owner Jerry Jones, not the coach of the Dallas Cowboys. A similar situation also exist with the Minnesota Vikings and their injured Quarterback. They are undefeated with their backup Quarterback.

Yes. The NFL is a replacement business as you claim. The Chicago Bears need a lot of repairing. First at Quarterback, because Jay Cutler is not the answer for success.

I think Green Bay may be going through the same thing this year.
