Killdevil Hills After Storm

Early morning following heavy storm. Had an old Canon Rebel with 28-80mm lens F3.5, Shot both at ISO 100,
A- 3.61 and 4.97, F 3.5 and 5.6. :D - First try at posting, not sure what will show up. I liked the lighting and color when I shot these.

I like that first shot a lot. The B&W really enhances the feeling of a storm.
I spent a lot of time on the Outer Banks (in Duck to be specific) and have crawled all over the dunes at Kill Devil. Beautiful place for shooting.

Thanks, I liked it as b/w, I also liked the mist with the tracks fading into it. Added a little mystery to it.

Yes, without those tracks you would lose the powerful effect of those converging lines drawing your eye into the distance.

I agree, the tracks draw you into the photo and the &w effect enhanceses that. Great shot.

I'm a second shot guy. The colors are so soft, beautiful. Colors don't need to knock you out to be a knock out.
