You don't know any criminal defense lawyers do you? The innocence or guilt of a client is immaterial, what is paramount is providing the best defense possible. The "laughter" was recorded as part of an interview 10 years later in discussing that her client, who she knew was guilty, passed a lie detector test. The laugh was over her decision never to rely on Polygraphs again.
