John Unitas, hands down the best there ever was.
I love it. It's great when people who are united in one thing, the love of photography, but can still have these lively debates on any subject or issue including photography. I'm glad I stumbled onto UHH a couple of months ago.

No. Think Peyton Manning and Johnny Unitas.

Brady did appeal and lost. The balls were tested and were below required minimum pressure. Players detected that the balls seemed to be a little soft. I'll take their judgement over the referee's judgement any day.
It's a good thing that "...seemed to be..." is not considered evidence in a real court of justice, only in AFL's "Kangaroo Court" in which guilt is determined by one person who is judge, jury and executioner. With what was at stake, do you really believe the opposing players wouldn't agree with the charges. I still maintain that if the balls were too low in pressure, the Ref's should have noticed and reported it. Tested? That's a joke, right? It was a cold day; the balls may have deflated just due to the temperature differential between the club house (mid 60's F) and the field (below freezing). To be a valid test, it would have had to be done at the time and under the same conditions, but it was done weeks later, probably in a lab.
As I recall the US Court of Appeals didn't rule on his guilt or innocence (they don't make that judgement), but just said that since the Patriots had agreed to the provision that the commissioner would be the judge & jury in any dispute, Brady had to live (or die) with the agreement the team owners all signed.
No, but Belachek (sp) might be the best coach ever.
It's not that the opposing players agreed with the charges. It's because the players raised the issue that the charges were ultimately brought. Testing was not done weeks later. That would be ridiculous.
You must have character also , Joe Montana hands down, Payton second.
Thus far, some interesting comments. Some positive and some negative. Brady is tied with Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana with 4 Superbowl Rings. Troy Aikman of the Dallas Cowboys is in 2nd place all alone with 3 Superbowl Rings. Tom Brady has been in 6 Superbowls and lost 2 to Eli Manning of the New York Giants. Tom Brady is 39 years old and has at least 2 more years left to play if not injured. If Tom Brady wins one more Superbowl Ring, he will be in undisputed first place with 5 Rings. If he accomplishes that, the Sports Writers will most likely say he is the greatest ever. And Brady wants that title. He was once asked in the past, which of his 3 Superbowl Rings did he cherish the most? His reply. "The next one." Remember, I am not a Patriots fan. Thanks everyone.

Quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots returned today after a 4 game suspension for Deflategate. During his suspension he returned to his Alma Mater by invitation of coach Harbaugh of the Michigan Football Team. Brady was honored by the students in attendance at the game, 100,000, as well as the school administrators. Afterwards, during his suspension, he took a vacation to Italy with his beautiful wife. He returned home to get ready for his first game in the Cleveland Browns stadium, defeating them in good fashion and passing for 406 yards. I am not a Patriots fan, but I have to give due credit. I believe that Tom Brady is the greatest NFL Quarterback ever. Before I said it was Joe Montana. Not anymore.

I don't believe he does it all by himself, that's why they call it a team.
You may say Brady is a head only because he has been cheating for years, not just this past year. The whole organization is corrupt. Remember spygate? We only found out about the cheating after some of their coaches left to become head coaches.

Peyton Manning won 2 big games in his life. Brady is head and shoulders above him. Brady does more with average receivers than anyone. As far as comparing the old NFL versus the new, it's apples and oranges.
The only difference is Bradshaw and Montana got theirs without cheating.

Maybe, maybe not. Let's see how he does if the linemen quit blocking for him.
