It's an AF. I overdid the micro contrast on the image I posted but it's a very good lens. A few years I moved and joined a new camera club. I'm the only one who uses A-Mount lenses in the Club. A man who moved from Minolta to Canon had a big collection of old Minolta lenses that he wanted to get rid of. I bought them all from him at a reasonable price. I just placed an order for the A99II. I have been testing out the the old Minolta glass on my A900 and evaluating it. A lot of these lenses are great! I look forward what they will do when placed on my 42.4 MP A99II when it arrives.

A few days ago I made a list of all my A-Mount lenses:

Sigma 12-24 f/4.5-5.6 DG FF
Konica Minolta AF17-35mm F2.8-4(D) FF
Sigma 28-105 f/2.8-4 Aspherical FF
Minolta 28mm f/2.8 FF
Sony 50mm f/1.4 FF
CZ 24-70 f/2.8 SSM FF
Minolta 35-70 f/4 w/marco mode FF (two copies)
Sony 100m f/2.8 Macro FF
Minolta 135mm f/2.8 FF
Minolta 100-200mm f/4.5 FF
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 w/macro mode
Sony 70-300 f/4.5-5.6 G SSM
Sony 300mm f/2.8 SSM
1.4X TC and 2X TC for above
Sigma 400mm f/5.6 FF
Sony 500mm f/8 Reflex FF

Sony 11-18 f/4.5-5.6 DT/APS-C
Sony 18-70 f/3.5-5.6 DT/APS-C

Hopefully, I will never need to buy another lens!

I'll drink to that quote. The Sony a99II is likely to be a successful camera, and assuring the existence of A-mount lenses.
