These RICH politicans want everyone else working for minimum wage and no benefits, if you don't like it there are 20 people waiting for your job. There will soon be two classes of people, rich and poor and nobody in between!

Was waiting for someone to 'correct' the statement about Romney working hard for his money....

I don't get this war on the middle class; it used to be that the upper class needed a buffer from the lower class and we provided it.

The sad part is these big business people would rather sell one unit ,say a refrigerator to a rich person for $10000 than sell 10 refrigerators to us for $1000 each. Less time & materials same or more profit. $10000 to a multi-millionaire is a drop in a bucket and they want us to make that refrigerator for minimum wage with no benefits. Lets pay a baseball player 1/4 of a Billion dollars for 10 years of work but tell a cop $50,000 a year plus benefits and retirement is way too much! Lets tell our military they can lay their lives on the line for us but when they get back there will be no jobs for them because some big money ceo decided he can make more money moving the business out of the country, pay poverty wages, no benefits, and sometimes child labor. A few years ago I saw a very successful business owner on T.V. ,sorry I forgot what the business was, and they were asking him why his business was so successful, and he said every year he tells his employees how much profit he wants to make Anything over that amount is split up among the employees along with their regular pay. So if they don't make the goal they still get their regular pay. He said they work their butts off for him and they benefit in the long run. It shows the American worker can and will work for an employer if there is a reason to, but why work your butt off for a little more than welfare wages and have to pay for everything yourself.

Oh very good reason..... Sumtin that happen 45/50 years ago.... Like thats really important today and its not important how a person is TODAY.... Gooooood thinking !

If he had been a child molester 40/50 years ago would that make him okay now? It goes to show his basic personality traits and they aren't something that readily changes. It is a proven fact that a child's personality is formed by the age of five. Therefore it is a relevant point.

Let's talk a little about BamBam's past! What he did, who he associated with, and what church he sat in for 20 years doesn't seem to matter. In 1 of his biographies (he's accomplished so much , he has 2, and is adding to other presidents' on-line bios, and will write another when out of office), he admits to bullying a girl, heavy binge drinking and drug(s) use. If that would have been Romney, that would be all over the news 24/7. You've found 1 reason not to vote for Romney, I have dozens why NOT to vote for BamBam!

Hark back to George Dubbya. He didn't do much for the Image of USA.
We have a potential one next election. I think he's worse than GW If he gets in. Heaven forbid!! That's Tony Abbott, Australia.

Tell that to the auto industry. Tell that to the banking industry. The feds gave money to one company - one - Solyndra, that later went belly up. I love how you turned one story into a sweeping condemnation. By the way, Romney did that with three companies in Massachusetts when he was governor. Some record.

With about a 2 min search, I have come up with 3 companies that Obama backed with government funds that have gone belly up after dishing out bonuses to the upper management---Solyndra, Ener1 and Beacon Power. Not only did they go belly-up, the gov allowed some private investors to re-coup their investment ahead of the gov. Totally against the law.
Yes, you are right that the feds LOANED money to Chrysler and GM. Chrysler has paid back the loans, and the feds are making money off the GM stock it now holds (GM has paid back about half the loan).

I'm sure I could find a few more "green" energy companies that Obama has backed that didn't make it.

I'm still looking for some one to give me 3 things that Obama can brag about.
Don't bring up getting out of Iraq, that date was set before W. left office.

Here's a question. Who was in charge when Lehhmans went down & brought the whole pack of cards down around the world a few years back. We even suffered here in Aussie. Now that wasn't very friendly. And poor ole Barak has been trying to sort out the mess ever since. Credit where it's due.

OH ! now hes a "CHILE MOLESTER"... Isn['t it amazing how stories change...

With statements like that you really don't even deserve to be able to vote.........[/quote]

Don:

You are getting to emotional. No one said Romney was a Child Molester. No one! So calm down. Why is it said the Age of Reason is at age 7 years? Because one's personality is shaped by then despite the fact the brain may grow for another 10-15 years.

I cannot tolerate Obama and what he has done to these once eminent United States of America. He has used Executive Privilege too often and as means to by-pass the U.S. Constitution. Unfortunately, Presidents on my side of the aisle have also by-passed, or screwed with, for a more accurate term, our Constitution by Executive Orders.

Working in healthcare for more than 45 years, I can attest that the American approach is too costly. I don't believe I am over-/under paid. Our American society believes that it is ok to do open-heart surgery on persons of age 90+, with at least a half-dozen co-morbidities. Why? That is wasteful spending supported by the citizens and the Washington Pols. We are asked to do everything possible, even against the patient's request, to commit scarce resources in futile situations.

Neither ObamaCare or RomneyCare (the basis of the President's run-a-muck program) are the answer. Neither are best for this country. I want someone to help retrieve the American Posture we once had. The Posture of Compassion, of military and economic Strength, and of the Ability to say appropriately "yes" or "no" (not just "yes" versus "no").

As a Conservative. just to the right of center, I believe that Ron Paul should not be dismissed. Or someone else who could step forward tomorrow and kick-start the process.

P.S. Romney's personality certainly came through the words of one of his son's. Dead dawg. Dead dawg. That speaks of no decent man. or a man with common sense, in my book. Similarly, a guy, like Obama, whose friends were/are American terrorists, is not invited into my house.

Don: I know you enjoy reading diatribes! You opened the can. Now let all the worms out. Either side of the issue is ok with me.

Lehman went down about a month before the 2008 election, due to shady bookkeeping and the sub-prime mortgages.
Alot of the mess we are in right now, was caused by the collapse of the sub-prime housing loans. Floating loans to people that couldn't afford them in the first place. Fanny May and Freddy Mac were pressured to give out the loans during the Clinton Admin. Bush2 tried to stop the sub-prime stuff, but the Democratic congress in power at the time wouldn't go along with it.
The path that has led us to this point was started a while back, with very little done to correct the problem over the years. It hasn't been just Bush2 or Obama.
I have other issues with Obama, some of which with you may or may not agree.
As far as Obama trying to fix it, his idea is to just throw billions of $$$$$$$$$$$$$ at the problem. If he really had any idea of a way to fix it, he would have done it during his first two years in office when he had the entire congress on his side. Almost 3 years without a budget and counting. And the two he submitted were voted down 99 to 0. Now that's the way to lead.

As Napoleon so astutely noted:

Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich.

I'm not quite sure how astute it was, considering the French Revolution. 8-)

If you support Barack Obama, please drive with your headlights OFF at night.

Together, we can make it happen. Thank you!

BTW: the whole "driving with your headlights out" was a joke. I hope you realized that.
