I just ordered the Nikon D500 Dx camera along with the 18-80 2.8/4 lens, their was a $500 instant rebate, had the older D300 that I loved. My main camera now is the Sony A7R2 that I enjoy for portraits, I was looking for a faster more zoom that's why I bought the D500 I should receive it by Saturday, I am planning on putting the 80-200 2.8 that amazing on this new toy. I realized that I wanted a 2nd camera for different style of shooting. Race cars and fast action!

OK. Anything else of substance you care to report?

What about you? Do you still not know what forums are for? How can one "human being" be so ignorant as yourself? Log out and never come back. Do all of us a huge favor. What an idiot you are. And to think that you may have reproduced is frightening.

The rebate was from Nikon if you bought the kit, the lens is the 18-80 mm 2.8/4, so the combo lens & camera is under $2600 complete, the instant rebate ended yesterday from Nikon. Not the best lens but for my lightning photos this should be fine.

Thanks. If I would have known about the Nikon rebate I would have brought it to the UHH sooner. I have not been on this sight in a long time, this product (18-80mm2.8/4 Nikon lens) was a total surprise for me. I hope it's a good lens? Not even doing my homework on the lens. With the $500 off how bad can it be?

Jim Bob, you know you like these "Goody goody for me, looky looky what I got!" posts!

You know, I just joined a few weeks ago looking for some friendly information. But people like Jim Bob and RWR, you're unnecessarily rude. If you don't like a post, ignore it. If this keeps up, I'm gone. I enjoy photography, but I'm finding that it can be really tough to enjoy photographers.

If Jim Bob think’s my reply to him was rude, he’ll let me know.

Don't let it get under your skin.
