Wonderful shots - especially love the spider web. It's not always the camera, but the person behind the camera that makes the photo. Use what you are comfortable with - your technique and eye are the things that are most important.

I enjoyed each one Carolina, I have a Fujifilm SL300 camera, it has everything but interchangeable lens and is fine for my hobby and artistic outlet.
Thank you Karin...really appreciate that...so glad to know you enjoyed them!

I'm a bridge camera user too jan and I love the light weight of it and the challenge of the shoot...whatever it is...especially wildlife.
I love your shots as usual. You're going to love the freedom of it . I'm so glad you are still shooting!!
Thank you so much merrytexan for your kind words of encouragement...I'm glad I'm still shooting too...it would've been a shame to wait until I did irreparable damage to my shoulders!
Great shots and at 88 I can't walk around any more to scout out the possibilities, so I envy you.
Jan, I see no diminished quality here! I am a firm believer in that its the photographer who makes quality images. These are artistically composed and captured and are absolutely beautiful! All are deserving of accolades but I love the spider web, certainly the beauty of a string of pearls!
Think that you are doing great with you new camera, Jan---very beautiful and excellent set!
Really good images, Jan! I just took a couple cobweb pics, too, but they're still in the camera!

I haven't been on here for awhile because my Canon 7D MK II and Canon 300mm Prime Lens...was getting too much for this 70 year old lady
I've sold all my equipment and bought a new bridge camera...the Sony RX10 III...and although I might not get the quality I use to get I've never been a fan of pixel peeping anyway
Sometimes you just have to make sure you're still having fun with your hobby

Very nice Jan. Looks like your bridge camera is working well for you.
Still great shots Jan, I too find I use my bridge camera more than the SLR...
