Californias Sierra in the fall.
Mike, I always expect your images to be awesome. These are better than that. I'm going to run out of adjectives!

I have wandered all over that awe-inspiring part of our planet but not for the last 4 or 5 years. Your beautiful shots remind me that time's a'wasting.
Thanks.

Thank you very much, I feel your pain, as for me I am too old and fragile to continue.

Another nice series of images from you Mike.
I recognize many of the spots that you captured in the images --- from those taken at Olmsted Point, to Tenaya Lake, one spot along the Tioga road looking back at at the Sierra Crest, and also the one along the road to June Lake.
I have some almost similar images that I have taken in previous trips and have stopped at pretty much the same spots that you have.
I will be in the Sierra's next month on the 4th for a week of shooting the great fall color in Yosemite for two days, and then along the Sierra Crest around Virgina Lakes, Lundy's Canyon, June Lake and maybe if I have time one morning at Bodie before coming back to San Francisco.
Thank you very much, you are correct at every point, hope the fall colors are great for you as you know sometimes there is no pep to it. I am too old now to go, I always had trouble with getting enough oxygen at that high levels while trying to sleep and I had to drive down to Bishop to stay overnight.

Great set Mike.
Thank you very much Earnest.
Love the pictures. Still hoping to get up there before the color is gone. We spend a good deal of time hiking the Sierras every year.
Beautiful compositions, clarity and color, Mike! Breathtaking scenery!
