The Passion Flower! For me, it is the prettiest flower! Here in Louisiana these flowers evolves into "pome-granits" (in Cajun French -- des Granades" or translated to English "grenades"). They turn yellow as they reach maturity and smells real good, then they are ready to eat but there are a lot of seeds. We used to pick them when I was a young boy. Now here comes the question I wanted to ask, "Did anyone in this forum ever eat one?"
I lived in Brazil for almost 40 years and "Passion Fruit" is very popular there. It is used to make juice and sweets, however it is very very tart and needs to be sweetened to consume. My company had planted several seeds that developed into large heavy vines with loads of fruit. I returned to the USA before the fruit turned yellow and ready to pick.....
