There's a nice used one for sale in the classified section here on UHH. Check it out.
I just got back from a photo shoot with mine. May I show you an image?
I've had mine a year or two. Great photos can be had. Ask folks to show photos taken with theirs.

Nice shots, not bad on the distance.

I bought a P900 about three months back.( About 25 years ago, I started to sell Blads(for Weddings) my 8x 10's and lastly my Nikon DSLR and its many lenses.) I bought a Nikon P7000. and was happy with that. After several years I started to look at up grading to a P7800. Then I saw information on the P900. After reading review after review, I purchased one. STUNNING!! The geese shot handheld, was about 200 yards away on the Susquehanna River, near Columbia, Pa. The moon was during the "Hunter's Moon" using a monopod. The turkey were 100 yards away in my back yard, also handheld. The Wheel was at 7 feet, to see the "scope" of the wide angle.
As you can see, I still have a lot of work to do with the camera, but I give it a big Thumbs Up!
Yes, Jim, many of us own one. Use the Search function on this site and you will find a lot of helpful information.

I rented one and was not impressed. I went to the field to shoot some birds in flight. When the sun was out and I was shooting at 1800mm the mirage was so great the shots were blurred. I found the autofocus on fast moving targets to be a bit slow. I returned the camera and returned to my D Nikon. However, stationary applications may prove the camera to be fine. The choice is yours.
