I would say now that all of my Canon equipment was purchased from the Refurbished lineup. I have had absolutely no problems. Plus Canon gives you a year warranty (Nikon doesn't do that).
Looks really good to me!! Great Price!
I like refurbs. Those links show the same camera for different prices?
EDIT: I see. New and refurbished.
I bought my Canon Rebel T6s and an 18-135 kit lens (both refurbished) through Canon. Great deal and a one year warranty on both.
Go with the Refurb - it will be like new and what a great price!! Go For It !!!

The problem I see with kits is that some of the big-box stores will sometimes put lesser quality lenses in their kits - you have to watch out when you are trying to compare kits. If the kit is from Canon and it has lenses you can use, you really can't go wrong. And after years of hearing nothing but good things about buying Canon refurbs, I just bought a 6D and so far am loving it.
I think that is what I read or heard about kits is that the lens were of lesser quality.
So I've mentioned before I'm an outdoor enthusiast with nature and again still on budget what zoom lens would be suggested? Thoughts.
Thank you all for you positive feedback. :)
My granddaughter (14 and into media work) got T5 refurb kit for Christmas, has shot the heck out of it (several thousand frames by now), and has had no problems--she loves it! And so do I, who have borrowed it upon occasion.
It appears to be a go ahead! Thanks.
I am not familiar with Canon because I have been using Nikon gear since 1963 and I can tell you that the kit lenses made by Nikon are excellent in optical quality.
I am sure Canon is the same.
Cameras and lenses are only tools. We handle the camera and we are responsible for the results.
Most lenses are better than most photographers, not trying to offend anyone.

Thanks. Makes perfect sense to me and I don't think there should be any offense. Infact my photographer friend, lol I'm going to have to agree in my case.
I too have just purchased a refurbished cannon t6s from cannon direct you could not tell it from new purchased to lens with it 18-135 and 55-250 am having a ball with it!!
