Sun Set San Francisco Monday Night

Sun Set Over Golden Gate Bridge San Francisco
It was an absolutely fabulous sun set. I went up on the roof top, but I didn't take a tripod with me, and had to bump up my ISO to capture it and the shots have an awful lot of noise in the shadows.
Even though I spot metered on the really bright white part of the strata, I still have some blown out highlights in the images. I live near the bay and can see the Golden Gate bridge and can just make out the towers in my images, but the colors are super.

Rarely is anyone in a position to capture such an iconic silhouette along with spectacular light show. Beautiful!

The contrast of those different hues made for a really beautiful shot.

Excellent capture ...one of my favorite areas to photograph ....I am from that area .., but live in Hawaii now ...
