I had them here at my store back in June, it was a great time for all. Lots of good information and special discounts on many lenses during the event. It will definitely be worth your time to attend. As well as worth the time of anyone else who can get to one of these free sessions.

Thanks. Sort of what I expected from Tamron.

They are free, so, that being said they are generally a touch and shoot with Tamron lens thingie. If you like that sort of thing. They will have a variety of Tamron lenses for you to use on your camera and their experts are there to explain the latest and greatest Tamron stuff. Sigma at on time used to do this stuff at zoo's and they were fun, I remember a gal got really close to a Zebra with a wide and she got the lens cleaned with it's tongue.

I'm sure you'll get your money's worth.

Let us know how it turns out. If there is a lens you're considering, read comparisons of Tamron and others. You could get a good discount buying at the event. But there's no sense buying a lens you won't like later.

I've been to a couple here in NJ. They are good, but they are also aimed at selling Tamron lens so take it into consideration. A cool feature is that they sometimes have technicians along who will clean your Tamron lens and check it out as well. Plus they give you a coupon for any future service.

I went to one here in Las Vegas last year. Got what I paid for. Mostly not a good use of my time, but that's just me.

Since all I have is Tamron glass, except for my Sony 50mm f/1.4, I may just pack my bag & have them check all of them.

I have attended several in my area. They are worth it---fun---free--- and try out all their lenses on your camera. One is coming up in my area Aug. 31.

Keep an eye out for a Tamron lapel pin. They may or may not have them. Kind of nice!
