Really nice B & W. It looks almost dream like and ethereal.

Bob, your b&ws always send me to the twilight zone-a wonderful place and are they real? Great fun!

Thank you Lloyd. I'm afraid you're stuck with what you've got.

Great shot Bob and I love what you did with it my friend!
Thank you Jim. This was shot just at dusk so there is some very soft light on the subjects, but the sky was still alive with white clouds.

Bob, excellent treatment! I really like this mix, the capture and your treatment. I would love to know what you do in the final print, i.e. what paper you use, and how it turns out. I expect it would be a real head turner as a wall hanger!

Thanks for sharing. Not only this shot, thanks for all your shares, you do such nice work. I hope, at least a good portion of them end up printed for all to see.
Thank you UXOEOD. I don't print my works ....... so I do most of my work getting them to look good on a computer monitor.

As you know Bob I'm not a big fan of B&W but it works for me in some situations. Holy Cow! This shot really made me stop and look. I love the how the light surrounds the people and draws you there but the sky is, well, I'm not sure why word to use. What a great shot! Fine work. Frame it, hang it.

Thanks Doc. For me, it was the lighting shifts that made this image stand out.

This is a well done and interesting photo in black and white....Rich
Thanks Rich. I suspect that not all images survive the transformation into b&w ..... but the ones that do are usually dramatic.

Fine shot Bob and excellent treatment Just a matter of preference, I find the person in the foreground a distraction, don't really need him for scale, or?
Thanks for you comment marsdad. Yep, personal preference. I usually do landscapes (or waterscapes) without people, but Minniev showed me that human presence is not always a bad thing. It shows we enjoy the same things as other folks.

Beautiful done Bob. A classic.
Thank you Michael. This image had languished for a while before I took a second look and thought I might be able to bring it to life, just with no color.
