We take what we can get.
This was at a small town street market.
The lighting gave a hugely blown out BG. The singer was under a canopy, back lit by hard mid-day sunlight. I needed 5,000 ISO for him, and yet, behind him could have shot it at 50 ISO with the settings in the camera. There's no time to fool around changing settings. Fill-in flash is usually a no go, for street work.
The image is shown here in B&W as a preference. The main glitch being the top of his head is shiny, but in my opinion, acceptable.
The pickup truck in the background was a gift. What else could be better for a country motif! It is blurred so as to better accent him as the center of interest.
For your lighting conditions, I think you did a great job. Actually, I like the blown-out background. And the "ghostly" pickup gives the whole photo an otherworldly feel. Good one!

Thanks Voss,
And then there are times, in easier circumstances, we end off off with a stinker.

I looked at the photo before reading your comments and was going to mention the pickup.
An arresting image well worth keeping.
Great shot! Is it my imagination or is it the guitarist face I see behind the strings?

There were dozens of vehicles parked on the street and I think only one truck, and it was exactly in the best spot. As I said it was a gift.

LOL. It's label or decal by the guitar maker.
Thanks Bob.

I can't figure out how he makes money playing at the market. His camera case is closed and there was nothing out to collect donations.
Thanks Bill.

You have a first-rate image here, given the harsh conditions.

Doing street is a challenge and that makes it fun.
Thanks John.
