Just go this camera and I am starting to become familiar with everything this camera does. Thank goodness there was another book available for this camera. The author is David D. Busch and is entitled Sony a77 ll - ILCA-77M2 the guide to Digital Photography. This really shows Sony how they should write a manual for their Cameras.
Since I am new are the free our people that have used this camera and can gave me feed b acknowledge on the camera?

I just purchased this same camera two weeks ago. I am obviously still learning it myself. It does have some cool features that I like over my A580. I have noticed that I see no loading time difference in either lightroom nor photoshop. I was wondering since going from 16mp to 24mp Here a few posts that I made so far:

The HDR and Vivid controls in the Fn menu are worth a visit. HDR can go auto or up to 6 stops in manual adjustment. And, it is nice to see your result in the viewfinder after you take the shot. And, in Manual, you can see the final shot as you adjust your shutter speed and F stop before you take the shot, a REALLY nice feature. You have one of the best camera's on the market. Congradulations

Welcome to our forum!

Yes, Busch does a very good job of writing about cameras. He'd better hope that manufacturers don't start imitating him.

I have had my A77m2 since Nov 2014 and it is very good camera. In Feb 2016 I moved to the A7Rm2. I still use the A77m2 for some things. PM me with more specific questions about this camera.

Been shooting the A77II for almost a year now - very impressed. I still prefer Canons for BIF though. Clear image zoom, sweep pano, HDR, and real time EVF are game changers for me!

David Busch writes excellent books for many DSLR cameras. I know one person who prefers Gary Friedman's books over Busch's books. He told me to check out his books. I haven't yet, perhaps one day I will. I already know Busch, Friedman just recently. I have relied mostly on PDF download manuals. Not always a solution to your problems.
