I wouldn't want to meet that first one up a dark alley. The second image is totally charming, it is a pity the good focus didn't reach quite to the end of the nose and for that reason my favourite is the third. I am messing up my focus all the time lately more than usual, I have tried opening up the lens but now my DOF is only a sliver so I am studying the work of you good macro shooters to find where I am going wrong. In truth I think I am not holding the camera still enough, oh well, onwards and upwards, another plateau will come in the fullness of practice.
