I have downloaded Windows 10 and everything works EXCEPT: I use ProShow Gold to produce slide shows. I moved images to ProShow ,by drag and drop or Copy and paste. These methods work in moving images from one folder to another but not to ProShow. Photodex has told me that the problem lies with Windows.Any suggestions? Thanx.

OS upgrades can glitch some programs and a re-install is needed...
Walwyn, I just tried my ProShow Gold version 7.0 and all works well. What version are you running, and is it compatible with Windows 10? Gary

I use ProShow Producer and upload files directly from LR

I think that's a funny response - blaming Windows. By definition, programs must be designed to work with Windows. If they are in conflict with Win10, they will be the ones making the adjustments, not MS.
I use Proshow and I create a folder with the photos and the music for a particular slideshow only. It is then available to find when a new show is created. When you create the show you simply open the folder that holds your photos and they are all sitting right there. You then simply pull them down into your show.

Pro Show Gold works perfectly on my Windows 10, on two computers, so the problem is evidently not Windows 10. Once you select the folder that contains the photos you want to work with, you can click and drag each photo into the work area of PSG, OR you can highlight any or all photos you desire, and import all of them at once. Works great for me. Are you first activating PSG and then importing photos? I doubt you can simply 'click and drag' photo to the PSG icon... you must be working from within the program. Good Luck.
The help desk on Photodex (I use Proshow Gold) is phenomenal. Best help I've had on any software. They hang with you til the problem is resolved.
Using Proshow Gold on Windows 10 over a year now. No change from when I used it on Windows 7. No brain farts on the upgrade to 10 and did not have to reload Proshow Gold. I use Proshow Gold to publish videos and slide presentations directly to YouTube.
I run Win 10 and Pro Show Gold. No issues. Why do you need to move folders? If you create a show, can't you just use the internal structure of Pro Show to reference the images you want to include in the show? I never "move" folders. Have been using Pro Show for almost 10 years. I'd be happy to help.

Photodex may be spreading BS. The operating system is basis. You should always write your software for that. The OS is god. I am not saying that MS never makes mistakes. Of course with millions of lines of code, they do. But a DnD problem would affect hundreds or thousands of software companies, not just one or two.
Companies like Intuit or Oracle spend a lot of money to follow Microsoft's direction. That way when something works in Win 7, Microsoft knows how write Win 10 so it will continue to work. Sometimes smaller companies don't have the resources or education to do this.
It's easy to pass the buck to Microsoft. But it is extremely unlikely to be a Windows problem. It would be a problem for every user of Adobe products, or Oracle, or Corel. And it clearly is not.
Keep pounding on Photodex's door. It is their problem.
I am a long time user of ProShow producer. I also have Windows 10 on my PC, and never had a problems. I think you should call Photodex again. I'm sure they can help you.

Don't have Pro Show but did find that I had to reinstall several programs with proper passwords before Window 10 would accept them.
Very shortly later, (one day for most), I got some Windows updates which improved the programs. No problems since.
