Hello from the "Big Easy"

Hello to all from New Orleans, affectionately know as the "Big Easy". I have recently purchased a Nikon D5000 and have been constantly reading tutorials on photography. I figured living in such a beautiful place, Id like to share it with others.None of the photo's attached were taken on auto, so please be gentle with the critisism (LOL) ......thank you in advance

Welcome to UHH, sjso! I really like your photos, especially the plantation home, although I would NOT enjoy mowing the lawn, or repairing the roof!

Danilo...... thank you for your reply and the critique. Yeah, I couldnt imagine cutting the grass back in the 1800's with a sling blade.
Any comment on the Oak lined road photo ?

Welcome to the HOGG, glad to see someone from nola here, I spend a lot of time down there. This area has been outstanding for pictures. Looks like you got a good grip on things. Believe you will enjoy your time here, there are a lot of experts that will gladly help you with any questions. If you would whenever posting pictures that you might have a question about click the box next to "store original" thqat way they can enlarge it and get a better idea of the question you have.
