All 6 shots are great. The D500 continues to make a reputation on this forum. Best Nikon DX format camera for sure. There's a battery recall on some D500s. Numbers ending in 01 are to exchanged. Enjoy your new D500. As others.

River Terns, like those I posted yesterday are relatively slow moving birds compared to the Little Green Bee Eater. A few action images. Speaks volumes about the fast focus acquisition capability of the D500.

Inspiring. Thank you.

Greats shots! I just got mine a few days ago. I hope my results will be as good as yours. Between the poor weather and work I have not had a chance to take some shots yet.

The D500 may be a great camera, but there is some serious skill behind the viewfinder. Just to keep the focus points in a long lens on a fast moving bird like this requires a lot of practice and skill.
As usual, great photos of interesting and beautiful birds.

True! Requires a bit of practice, eventually comes together. The fast focus helps a bunch. Many thanks!
