Yes, he really worked at making his presentations. I'm sure there are lots of photos of politicians that they wished had been destroyed.

If you want a good laugh, take a look at "Look Who's Back," a comedy film made in Germany. Hitler wakes up in Berlin in 2014.

Yep, you would be one of the few that would think any movie featuring a revived Hitler would be funny. It fits.

Well don't forget the musical "The Producers" that featured "Springtime for Hitler":

And Charlie Chaplin's "The Great Dictator" and the old and new "To Be or Not To Be" (1942 and 1983)

Ah, yes! Free speech wasn't very popular back then.

It's becoming increasingly unpopular these days too.

The photos prove what Rudolph Hess told friends about Hitler's oratorical skills. The proof is in the pudding now. Benito Mussolini could be just as dramatic. He wanted much to be the next Julius Caesar, which he was far from.

An interesting look back. Hitler took public speaking lessons and apparently they worked. He was regarded as perhaps the best orator of his day. Interesting also how he knew how influence public opinion so well that he was able to come to power. Another interesting story says that when he was going to speak to a large group he'd make them wait perhaps an hour before he even entered the hall. Then he'd go to the podium and just stand there for about 10-minutes while the crowd slowly quieted down. Then he would start in very soft tones and by the time he was done he was screaming and the crowd was screaming back - very effective.
