Bad day for this spider

Not a quality photo but this is the first time for me to capture a spider with a Ichneumon wasp larva (parasitoid) and a mite on a spider at the same time.

I have watched you post some really nice macro photos and admire your posts. I was taking macro shots of Chrysomela larvae on a cottonwood leaves and when I looked up the red mite caught my eye. Only then did I see the "trio." I am curious about the mite being on the spider. Typically I associate mites with vegetation other than red mites on fowl, so maybe it was just hitch-hiking. Thanks for taking time to view the photo and to comment.

We often photograph mites attached to insects at their joints, where access to internal fluids is a possible.
