UPS promised me he would be there by Monday.

I felt the little guy would never leave my house. He was always making mess everywhere he was. He almost ate everything I had except for my children. Which I would have let him eat them if he wanted, but he would not take the bait.

Now, Between, the delays of pm's, the drop out of the next person on the list, my work schedule, and my giving him to my daughter to mail, well I don't have a single beer left in the house, let alone the state of Louisiana. Boy that guy can drink! He was becoming depressed! Hobo do not like to spend to much time in one place. They need to wonder.

Anyway, I never took him down to Bourbon st. He never was able to produce an ID, and I did not want to get arrested for taking a minor down to the French Quarter. Who was drunk! That whiskey Eric gave him seem to stay in his blood.

Just a word to the wise, I think he's pretty good at pic pocketing. I alway seem to be out of cash, and he always seem to have plenty to drink. Not to mention the Doc Martin shoes he was wearing. For those that don't understand what I mean, well there are alot of Hobo's in New Orleans. They have no money, but they can afford to buy Doc Martin shoes, which start at $125.00 a pair, and the ones you usually see on the street urchins are over $250.00 a pair.

This was in the second paragraph of the first post of this thread, I didn't think of looking for him elsewhere.

Hobo is very photogenic so I would ask you to post your 3 favorite shots of his stay with you on this thread but as many as you want on a different thread that you start yourself.

Eric gave Hobo's little cousin, Drifter Dan permission to join the fun. We will try to keep this simple. We will give the next person on the list the opportunity to host Dan instead of Hobo. I will go down the list until I find someone who is willing to host Dan. It will be up to the person who hosts Dan to send Hobo to the person after them. In theory the two should leapfrog down the list. This should allow more people to participate faster. Same rules on Dan as Hobo, though he is traveling with a satchel and bed roll. Dan will be leaving here sometime the first full week of June for the next person.

Drifter spent the night in the barn with the chickens.
