How ironic! He's making fun of the girls who are more interested in selfies than in the game, yet he's talking more about the selfies than the game. The same applies to the cameraman. Remember that line about throwing the first stone? :D
I have mixed feelings. The narcicism of the selfie phenomena is sad. But this publc mockery seems unkind. And frankly, I find baseball so boring I understand...I would have a hard tme payig attentio too :) Rather un-American of me, I know :(
Well stated Jerry!!

Okay I watched the Ellen Show Clip as well. Those girls turned 15 minutes of "shame and ridicule" into a giant aid for their local women's shelter.
I still don't care for the of taking all those selfies during a public function (baseball game), personally, overall it turned out good.
Jerry nailed it! Let he who is without guilt. Did anyone bother to watch the Ellen video? These girls are on the dean's list, and half are on academic scholarships. Moreover, they raise money for charity, and were at the baseball game having a good time bonding. Somehow, I don't see how this is better than a bunch of guys sitting around a photography forum, whining about how they paid 20 cents too much for a Tamron lens or a Nikon body, and effervescing about the brown truck coming to deliver their toys. I don't suppose you guys are smart enough to detect just a tiny bit of hypocrisy in your judgements? :(
