Okay, before you start, I know it is really a Crane Fly, or a Mosquito Hawk, but Louisiana Mosquito just sounds funnier. Plus anyone who ever lived in Louisiana will appreciate that in all humor there is a little truth.

Enjoy, and download if you dare!

LOL good one UXOEOD, reminds me of the joke from S. Louisiana where I grew up about the 3 mosquitos who caught the cajun and were trying to figure out should they eat him there or fly away with him only to risk having the big ones take him away from them. Nice shot!

Maybe they should be equipped with ropes to tie the beastie up.... I know, he looks rather dead but you never know with beasties :)

I told a friend about your 'little people' the other day and we are curious, ...... WHERE do you find all the tiny figurines??

Model Train stores. Some brands/individual figures are better than others, so ordering off the web, (sight unseen) is iffy. As to what scale, it depends on what the subject is. Anything smaller than HO just plain sucks.

Almost forgot, Hobby Lobby carries a small selection. Good luck, and please share, would love to hear how your local mental health professionals medicate you!

Playing with little people in public will get you rewarded with many strange comments, and looks that people question what mental health professions have prescribed you. Have fun, and good luck.

Ya'll folks are funny... and obviously have never seen mosquitos in Alaska!

You make jokes, but the stories here are real. I've seen mosquitoes kill dogs...

Oh, well, that happens to me right here in my own yard. You can look pretty odd chasing down an odd bug on your hands and knees or your tummy. And as Cathy Ann and I mentioned the other day, the fact that you are getting older doesn't help in these situations, even if you have been doing such things all your life. Maybe if I use medicants as an explanation folks will be more forgiving ... then again ..maybe not :) :) :)

Better if I tell them I was bitten by a Louisiana Mosquito -- and ya'll thought Zika was bad.....................................

A laugher! Very clever and well done. We have no mosquitos that large here--they all been eaten by the black flies!

I spent the summer of '88 in Dead Horse, Alaska. You're right, those things are down-right scary.
