Hey, I'm not the right person to ask here, as I am pretty much just a walk around snapshooter. All of my flower shots are hand held, outdoors in natural surrounds, using natural light only. I do not arrange or orchestrate my shots. These two shots were at F8 with a D750 & a Sigma 24-105mm @ 105mm. However, I often use a Sigma 120-400mm lens for flowers--it allows a much longer working distance, which means I don't have to get down (which is hard for me) for those low shots. Earl.

Thanks Earl for the info. I see your shots nearly every day and I admire your skill. My flowers are covered with snow and possibly more snow on the way. It will be several weeks before I can dust off my camera. I just can't seem to envision a shot with tulips peeking through the snow. I understand the need for multiple lens, I have similar physical limitations.
