Thank you for looking and answering. You are right, the group was shot in Dallas. The two men at different locations in DC. Looks like one was shot from a higher angle than he was on. Accepting that 2 are missing is more realistic.

this was meant for rpavich

How about a collage of cameos?

Great idea! I could just make a collage of head shots. I will try to convince my daughter of that. Thank you for your input.

Listen to Bob Y.
I had a similar problem with a Christmas picture I needed. It was of the priest and all the kids in the church. I posted the 2 images I needed combined and the Hogs got to work on it.
It came out perfectly. You couldn't even tell it was from two photographs.

No, they are at two different locations in the DC area, and the group is in Dallas.

I'll check and see if a "mulligan" is in play.

I want to thank everyone who chimed in, That's one of the good things about this forum. OK, I did it, it is not great, it is not even good, but it will pass. The discerning eyes of the members of this forum will easily pick out what is bad -- but with what I had to work with...it's OK.

My daughter is preparing a group photo as part of a retirement gift for one of her retiring workers. Problem is that 2 were in DC on temporary duty. They sent individual photos to be added. I need to composite these two into the group. I have already extracted them from their backgrounds. The problem is the group is standing behind a conference table, while my composite has the 2 standing in front of the tables. Is it possible to bring the group (the background) photo, to the forefront, and the two to stand in the back row?

Yikes, looks difficult or next to impossible. Perhaps it would have been better to have had mostly individual shots and a few pairs or triplets and make a collage or montage of a bunch of shots that would not have to match. :-( Good luck.

I found the article about compositing, but the link I mailed to myself didn't make the trip. Sorry. I'll try again.

You could add them into the back of the photo and change their perspective in photoshop. The folks in group will appreciate it.
