It looks to be around 100 yards long and has literally thousands of pecked images. The older the image the more faint it is. Unfortunately, there has been some vandalism so it is now protected by a cyclone fence.
Forgot to mention, Sand Island is on the San Juan River in Southeast Utah near the Arizona border. The San Juan River ultimately flows into Lake Powell.
