Before Obama care, our premiums rose 20% or so per year and to make it affordable we kept raising our deductible until we got to $10,000. After my wife's cancer, it didn't matter - we couldn't even get insurance. If it has come back, we have gone bankrupt. Point is, increases would have happened anyway. And at least we could get insurance. You can blame the increases on Obamacare if you want - hard to say how much difference that actually made vs what would have happened without. I do realize there were negative impacts for many people, but there were favorable impacts for others. And as I said, people have to remember increase in premiums were just about an annual event anyway.
