Never been to B&H before but was given a tour yesterday by Hershel. Only took a few interior shots. I was too busy listening to Hershel, as well as looking and drooling at all the pretty shiny things! Here are a few shots for those who have never been there. A dangerous place! I could hear the screams of my credit card wanting to get out of my wallet!

Its an amazing place

Linger. Did you give any thought to the overworked UPS drivers out on the road? Just think how much time and effort you could have saved them, if you spent a small fortune while you were there.

Did you crowd in much time for the car show?

Marion

Didn't spend a penny and I even had two $20 B&H gift cards from Christmas in my wallet! Actually, that's one problem of the store. Space prevents them from stocking all but a fraction of their total product line. Cameras, lenses, and tripods are very well represented but many items are less well covered. The place to shop the entire product line is the internet store. I was looking for a particular item but only found a very limited display so I decided to do my shopping when I got home. Still, it's an amazing place. Well worth a visit.

I would love to go there. Of course I'd be in there a while and come out with a lot less money than I went in with, but what the heck.

Read your narrative and I concur. Good store, good prices and good people. Bought "refurbished" Canon DSLRs from them and I could swear it looked brand new. A real gem of a store.

How far is B&H from LGA? I'll be having to spend the night there in just under 3 months when I get back from vacation across the pond. Never mind...I found it...bummer...from my just-for-fun Google search for a cab ride it would cost me about %80 RT. I'll get there one of these days. Cabs in STL are MUCH cheaper!

I imagine that they might have a lot of product on consignment (salel or return) which makes it possible to have a lot to display/sell. It would be worthwhile for the suppliers to do that. We had that sort of arrangement here in Melbourne (Aus). Works well for everybody.

To those of my fellow members that have not yet had the opportunity to visit the B&H Superstore, please feel free to watch the the 5 minute professionally produced video at the link below for a small taste of what we have to offer. I'm confident that Larry will vouch for its authenticity as I'm sure he will recognize some of the folks in the video.
