That's the other half of my problem. :D

According to Google timeStats, I spent 35% of my computer time on UHH in the past 7 days.

And also a good amount of time doing PP of your photos, I would guess.
I was giving some thot of getting Elements 14 but I am hesitant because of all the bad reviews I see from customers who have purchased it. I have Lightroom 5.7 and was thinking about subscribing to Photoshop CC for approx $10/month. But I am only a casual hobbyist and I am getting old so it may not be worth it. I could be a little pile of ashes this time next year. ~FiddleMaker

and if you want a good, easy cake, mix one yellow cake mix with one can of crushed pineapple and bake at 350 degrees...frost with creem cheese frosting from a can.

We get our birthday cakes from a great local bakery, and they have wonderful fruit and custard fillings. On those rare occasions when I bother to make a layer cake, I just use a can of icing on top and between the layers. How would I get that delicious filling that the bakeries use?

Jerry, Try this one. Takes 50 minutes of work time and about 2 hours of down time.

Actually, that would be a pretty large pile. Cremation ashes weigh about six pounds. Why not plan on two more years and use the next year to enjoy yourself?

It looks delicious, but that's too much prep time.

30 minutes of prep time is too much?

Even a hamburger if you make it yourself takes about 30 minutes. This is not McDonald's.

Not 30 minutes prep time, and cooking on the grill is pretty fast. Flip it, go to the computer, flip it, go to the computer, eat it.

I see we do not view food preparation the same way. I do not like my burgers underdone, overdone, but relished. Then there is the assembling of all the condiments. Toasting the bun, frying the onions, cutting the pickles. Everything but mustard, mustard is only for hot dogs. There are burgers and then there are burgers. Oh I forgot to mention the 10 minutes it takes to warm up the grill and the cleaning of the grill and greasing the grill. OK, I'll cut you a little slack and say 25 minutes. Your solution sounds ideal but...

I guess you could get yourself a bunch of Twinkies and make believe. Very little prep time in tearing open a cellophane wrapper.

Jams, jellies, lemon curd, premade/store-bought custards, canned pie filling all make great fillings for layer cakes.
