Would several of you who have you location listed as "in hiding" explain why you do so.

I can't imaging why you would do so. Are you in the Witness Protection Program?

If you read the posts in the attic you will see why they want to hide. They are brave behind the keyboard as long as no one knows where they are.

They are in the WITNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM. One of the most notable is Jimmy Hoffa.

For a period of time I did not have an Avatar or list my location. When someone suggested that I list location and chose an Avatar I thought that UHH was a cult.

Unless someone list their specific contact information (real name and address) they are in hiding. Like you for example. If you list a specific state, city or country as your location, well big deal, you are still in hiding.

This has me baffled too. Especially when someone is selling something in the classified section. I'm never going to buy anything more than $5 from someone that is "in hiding" and has been posting on UHH for a couple of day and has 2 posts. LOL This always cracks me up. What are people thinking? My sister is a real scaredy cat when it comes to stuff like this too. It's kind of like people that have voice mail that never set them up or use the digital voice that just says the phone number. Why not set it up and use your voice in the greeting so that people know they have reached the correct Voicemail. I don't get that either.

I really don't want to know exactly where they live. I have no intention of stalking them.

It just would be helpful to know from where in the world they are communicating. It's kind of frustrating to have some one mention a photo of something that is local to them but I have no idea where in the world that is.
