Turns out to be an interesting composition. Sometimes accidents or mistakes can work. You never know.

The newer cars are so quiet, by the time I heard it, was to late to stop. Just glad I wasn't standing in the road... :-D
Thanks for looking

Reminds me of a sot I took at Windsor Castle many years ago with an old 35mm. This soldier/guard walked through and damn near ruined the shot.

Isn't serendipity fun? I have a few examples here on UHH of a bee that was on a flower I was hoping to capture. The bee flew away and I thought I had ruined the shot only to find out on the download, it had been captured clearly in flight. I have a few examples but it is the randomness that makes the photo experience memorable.

I think so to, I'll put it in my keeper file.

And that's what it's all about. I have another one I captured a couple years ago of a sailboat at the exact instant that the halyard breaks, and the sails halfway to the water. I'll have to go find it.

I think I just invented a new way to screw up a shot. A car drove by just as I snapped the shutter on this Canada Goose.

Nice shot. The unusual thing about the picture is that the driver is not texting or talking on his cell phone. Now that is pretty rare these days.

After looking at the picture a couple of times, looks like the driver might have gray hair, that would explain a lot.
Thanks for looking.

I was already focused on the bird, just one of those things, I accepted it as a keeper.

I could barely get through your description with the tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.

I needed that laugh to get me moving and motivated this morning, after losing an hour of sleep because of moving the clocks forward over night.

My secret has been not to change my clocks at home or in my vehicle in the fall, I just convert the time in my head, but my visitors panic believing they have lost an hour when they look at my clicks.

Timing is everything!

Great shot, especially when it wasn't planned.

I could barely get through your description with t... (show quote)

Not a lot of traffic in that area, but what is, is usually trucks or big vehicles in which case I would have heard it and waited until it passed. That will be one of my keepers.
Thanks for looking.

Excellent framing. I'd have never thought of using a car and driver as a means of framing a subject. Very creative.
