At last I have some results, not up to scratch for this forum yet, but going in the right direction. My biggest problem has been getting droplets to stick, these are on a rubber tube which is the most successful I have found - need to find a hairy stem.

105mm macro plus 68mm of tubes and water with a little of glycerine added and lots of patience Longer arms would be useful :)

Have you given thought to use a very fine sandpaper and stroking the rubber tube in one direction. This might just create enough friction to stabalize the droplets. Great job so far

That is an idea for me to try tnturk. I would like to get the droplets more rounded. Thanks

Thanks Tom, I tried for a syringe but they said they didn't sell them. Probably thought I was a druggie. I did however get a dropper but will persevere for a syringe, a trip down the bus shelter at night might produce one :(

Very nice. The last shot, the drop on the left is outstanding! I'd be very tempted to crop & use it by itself.

Nice Brenda. I've tried this but have had limited success. I've gotten some good tips from this thread. Maybe I'll try again.

Yes gym, it is quite a fiddle keeping everything in the right position. I will continue to work on it.
