I like them both, Vicki. Only thing I would do differently is lighten their eyes. You can do that by either dodging, or use an adjustment layer with brightness/contrast, invert your layer, use the white brush to 'paint' the eyes, then use the brightness slider to light them to where you want them.

Thank you Randy. I have no idea what you just told me to do. I'm still trying to make sense of "Photoshop Elements for Dummies." My out-dated editing program doesn't allow me to do much other than adjust really basic stuff including brightness adjustments and dodge or burn. There's no brightness slider.:-D

#1 love it Vicki, dark works for me

Thank you CS. I kind of liked the mood the darker images conveyed, so I'm glad you liked it, too.

The spots of light in #1 are perfect! Showing off that sweet face and bits of her body, especially the feet. It's a very eye-catching image and I love it.

The expression in #2 is sweet, but I can't help but wonder if there would be more impact with lightening her eyes?

I like #1 too. The underexposure adds a nice contrast leading the viewer right to your cute little corgi's face. Maybe, bring the eyes out a tad more?

Thanks for the visit and helpful suggestions Linda. When I learn a little more about some of the pp options I've neglected, I'll give these another go.

Glad you enjoyed.

A fellow horsewoman and dog trainer once described Corgis as being little Nazis. I think she may have been onto something. :-D This one is one of the sweetest we've ever had, but she's definitely a Corgi.

Thanks for the visit and comments. I'm glad you enjoyed these.

Thanks for the input and time you've taken to look. Everyone keeps suggesting bringing out the eyes. I just need to learn how. :-)

Beautiful shots of beautiful doggies, Vicki! I agree with Randy about lightening their eyes.
